200HP Second engine powerpack, with an AHWI FM600H 1200 Mulcher Head

This heavy-duty machine has 200HP for just the mulcher head. Quickly changeable between sharp teeth and carbide-tipped hammers, this machine is ideal for large whole tree mulching, oversize Rhododendron mulching and heavy vegetation.
Fully forestry guarded and equipped for night working. Supplied with 700mm wide track pads and forestry track guards, this mulcher can also be supplied with 1.6M wide track pads for work on soft peat or wet ground. Another popular machine in our excavator mulcher hire fleet.
This machine is Ideal for harvesting and re-stock sites, where normal forestry mulchers cannot travel or where spot mulching is required.

This reduced tail-swing, compact machine weighs only 22ton, but has 200HP for just the mulcher head. Quickly changeable between sharp teeth and carbide-tipped hammers, this mulcher is ideal for Rhododendron mulching, heavy vegetation or whole tree mulching.
The Rototilt allows the cutter drum to reach almost any angle from steep inclines to awkward banks and ditches or under existing tree canopies. One of our most popular machines in our excavator mulcher hire fleet.

Excavator mulchers make light work of jobs where a tracked dedicated mulcher cannot work efficiently.
Excavator mulchers work by flailing the vegetation and trees from the top down to ground level. This enables mulching to be carried out on ground that is uneven or has contamination or objects like manhole covers and old foundations in the vegetation that would damage a conventional mulcher.
They are also ideal for reaching material where a tracked mulcher or chipper cannot access. They make light work of Rhododendron, heavy thorn, scrub, light trees, and hedgerows.
They use a steel high-speed rotating drum, with heavy-duty swinging hammers which are designed to fold out of the way if contact is made with any solid objects.

Our hire fleet has been designed with high-flow hydraulics for efficiency. This makes them much faster than similar-sized construction-based machinery, that is running on standard hydraulic circuits.
Robust & Safe Machines
All our machines can safely work on rough ground conditions or where hidden objects are concealed by vegetation – for example on rail and demolition sites and are fully forestry-guarded to the highest safety standards.
Our machines are also equipped for night working in complete safety – for example on highways works, or during night closures. Our mulcher heads are very robust and are equipped with wire-cutting devices, so that fencing, embedded in hedgerows, for example, can easily be processed without causing damage to the machine, or delays to the works.
